The creative life can be a slog! No joke. This might sound like an unhelpful platitude, but I've often found that big disappointments (once processed and given a bit of distance) can open up space for unexpected opportunities. Maybe an agent who's a better match? Who knows where the magic will resurface? 😉

Of course, that's my brand - hold tight for the magic that's bound to be out there (the muses and the successes and the opportunities hanging together :) ) But maybe a turn at holding on more loosely would be a good idea!

I forgot to include the quote recently forwarded to me from the Bhagavad Gita - "you are not entitled to the fruits of your labor" only the labor/effort itself. Of course that's the real challenge - to enjoy the journey-process-work along the way!
